My partner is anticipating going out of town for her surgery. She has 45 degree scoliosis, is 51 and is in considerable pain with pain killers. We are in Seattle. We hear good things about the Sonoran Clinic. Does anyone have any other great surgeons they recommend.

You might want to contact Carol Lytle (cjlytle@hotmail.com). She runs a scoliosis support group in Phoenix and knows the Sonoran group.

If San Francisco would be of interest, there's a spinal deformity team at UCSF that is very well known and highly respected. The surgeons are:
