I'm sure everyone is familiar with the attractive rib hump. But after surgery I can barely see the right large rib hump since my curve was to the right side. I'm sure I will need to get new orthotics as I carried so much weight on the right side my two smaller toes have ridges However the left side always felt more compressed and not as wide as the right side Does the compressed side eventually expand to be farther apart and have a more normal shape or will it remain more compacted?

I'm not sure how it works with adults but if you look at the before and after xrays of my son, you can see how well the ribs have been separated after his surgeries/traction. He still has a small rib hump on his right side but it is nothing like it was before (grotesque) and when he is at the one-year post op stage I will allow him to do personal training so he can build up body mass and that will even things out, I'm thinking.
