Wow, what a great correction! Congratulations Kayde!!!! Hopefully you will get the pain under control.
Remember, it gets better each day.
My correction was a bit limited in one part as my bones had already fused in one part and my surgeon didn't want to break them apart. Looks like you didn't have that problem.
Once again, congratulations!
Do you know how much taller you are now?Discovered scoliosis when 15 years old.
Wore Milwaulkee Brace for 1.5 years.
Top curve 85 degrees, bottom curve 60 degrees
Surgery completed August 23, 2011 (during an earthquake, can you believe that?)

I was close to getting that. In the year it took for me to get my bones under control arthritis was sitting in and L2 and L3 got really bad. Now that I can set my alarms and taking my pain meds myself every 4 hours and a Valium every 6 hours the pain has been a lot better. The matress has certainly helped and the Satan sheets make it easier to move and that has helped a lot. I was scared but my friend called me and said I would feel better at home. She was certainly right. I wouldn't have wanted them to break by back either. My dr said you can always go back for more but once you do it you can't always change it
Dr said I an inches taller. Makes my torso match my longer legs now. Haven't worn anything but pj's and sweats but excited to try on a few dreads that I always hadbto wear a sweater with to hide the curve. And due to the breast gashes I haven't tried on a bra yet ... But wondering how that will feel. Lol.

Nice rack! Looks great! Did they go to T1 on you?
So sorry about the gashes....when you are out and they move you around, its tricky. After my gall bladder removal surgery, my neck was hammered.
I was wondering if they did a thoracotomy on you when you first mentioned it. That’s where they enter under the armpit.

T2
He started T2 and went to L 4. A little more than we discussed but then I wasn't exactly pre warned you could have gashes to your breasts either. Not very common I understand. Guess if I was huge it might have occurred to me but certainly wasn't what I was prepared for. It certainly hurt. I have done much better at home. No constipation as far woohoo and my first shower yesterday. Really was exhausting but I do feel and smell much better I'm sure. Lol.
