Met with the Surgeon's main PA and the incision is looking good.
I asked about a plan to get off hydrocodon-acetaminophen so I could drive once in a while. She suggested that on a part of the day that I wanted to drive to take Tylenol for that timeframe and then use the prescription stuff the other part of the day. So, that is what I am trying today: Tylenol in the morning...
Still had to sleep after getting up early and doing a few small tasks. Drinking caffeine tea now to try to wake up.
The Tylenol is doing okay--still hurt, but manageable.
The PA gave me some breathing exercises to do: Take a big breath and hold it for 10-15 seconds (as long as I can), and then repeat 10-20 times.
I am also still suppose to work with that breathing monitor aparatis...my goal is to get to 1500...I guess I have lousy lung capacity.
Otherwise, she did not recommend any other PT.
