Hi Everyone,
I received my heart ultrasound results today and I have a healthy heart and do NOT need open heart surgery. Primary doc felt my mitral valve prolapse might have changed which was causing new symptoms. He felt results would either be a new symptom for me to live with or open heart surgery to repair valve. Praise God it's just a new symptom and I don't have to be concerned about delaying spinal surgery!
I brought x-rays and MRIs of spine to primary doc today because he was not aware of those results since I saw him 2 weeks ago. He agreed with me it is time to speak to surgeon so I'm glad I already have appointment set for tomorrow.
Primary doc rx'd tramadol for back pain. He said it might take a week for it to have full effect since I've been in pain for so long. Has anyone taken tramadol?
Warmly,
Doreen
