I'm feeling SO much better than when I first came home. I'm eating, drinking, sleeping a bit, and pooping!
I am walking as well and doing stairs here and there. I have run 1/2 marathons in the past and worked out a lot. It's hard to see now that my muscle tone is dwindling so quickly. I'm hoping to get into some type of PT or pilates after a few more weeks.
I'm looking into getting a better matteress to increase my sleep time and then some type of recliner too, hopefully not too expensive.
Anyways, I was wondering if that feeling of stiffness gets better as time goes on? I assume it does as I'm only 11 days out of surgery. I'm fused T2-L1.
Thanks! Christina
Also, I know this process can be good one day and not so good the next. So I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself.
