Haha! I love it when those things happen. I had a tonsillectomy yesterday. When I sat down on the bed in the operating room, the nurse noticed my scar because of my gown, and she was going crazy over it, so all the other nurses had to come over and check it out. They said that this surgery would be nothing compared to what I've been through! (And they were right! Piece of cake.)

Moments like those always make me laugh.

I have had Doctors comment on my hardware after viewing my x-rays. “Wow! Who did that?” “Nice rack”. That’s something guys don’t normally hear.....lol

I have had other surgeries after my scoli surgeries and yes, they are pretty easy.

I have to admit. You know which surgeon a guy has to trust the most? Not his scoli surgeon, his Urologist. My Urologist scares the heck out of me. “Your going to do what?” “Your going where and with what?””a laser?” One slip on the trigger, and, well, you know, problems.

He handed me an orange card, and when I approached the front desk the 8 ladies commented “Oh, we got another one”.....while they laugh.

You would think I was on a sitcom.

      Talk about deep breaths....

I had the same reaction at a Dr.'s app't. about 6 months after my surgery when my ht. was measured. The nurse said "Someone must have written down the wrong no's because according to this you have grown!" One of the perks of going through all this is having local Dr.'s/medical professionals just amazed at what was done!
            Enjoy summer, everyone.
