So I went to a neurologist for the first time yesterday, I told him that my pain has become severe over the past year or so and I'm to the point where I can't take it anymore. He said my MRI wasn't very good quality, but he could tell that I have scoliosis, just not the extent of it, and he told me I also have something else that I was born with (something I couldn't pronounce, of course) which pretty much boils down to a broken tailbone that's never going to heal.
That was it. He said he's going to send me to get a CT scan so he can watch the curve to see if it worsens, he's going to send me to a pain management specialist (whatever the hell that means). He said a back brace wouldn't work for me and that he didn't think that I should consider surgery at this time. So what am I supposed to do??? Just hurt constantly? I'm so upset. And in so much pain.
