Hi I'm hoping for some voices of reason - some voice of experience. I started another thread years ago -

i am not sure what "out of nowhere" means...? (from your original post)
scoli ALWAYS has the potential for worsening...no notice given...and from reading what parents on forum have experienced, sometimes it worsens far faster than anyone expected...
did he measure her the same time, every time? i know there are some on forum who say their curves are more noticeable at nite, when they are tired and not standing their straightest...?
do you trust this doctor...is he a scoli specialist...?
i am sorry, but i am not surprised...never surprised...anytime a curve gets worse...
i was not diagnosed til age 30-31, but looking back, i realize the scoli was there, back when i was barely a teen...and ballet became more difficult for me, especially the turns, as one side of my spine is worse than the other...
i hope you have a top scoliosis surgeon to watch your daughter...
i also think any exercises that strengthen the back would be good for her...
reading some of what other parents on forum have tried might help...

That thread did not work, it said "no thread specified", so I did not read your old thread. Can you sum up your for us? My 13 yr old daughters scoli progressed unexpectedly rapidly at one point, going from 25 to 32T in 3 months, if I remember correctly, and even to 37T in 2 wks! What does that mean?? I have gotten no answer to this from her doc. Go figure
