Hi everyone,
Iys going to be almost a week since I checked in at the ER. LAst Sunday I started vomiting non stoping all day until I decided was enough an came back to Cedars. It turns out that I have a blockage and a part of my intestines collapsed itself... Kind of like it has a fold or extra tissue and does not permit fluid or anything to pass in that area. I know very weird. I had an endoscopy done, ct scans, X-rays and different doctors could not understand what was going on with me. I believe that they still don't. Anyways, I'm still here battling with bowel movement issues. The doctors are trying really hard to make me go, but nothing happens still. This is very strange, painful and frustratin!!! Bur at least I am under good care and I won't be back home until something happens with my guts (that's what I told the doctors).
I'll keep you posted.

I'm so sorry to hear this.... At least they are on the right track and trying to help you. This surgery is hard enough to go through without the extra surprises!! Hang in there. Soon it will all be in the past.

You poor thing. After the long wait you had for the surgery, you deserved a smooth run....but as others have said, this too, will pass (scuse the pun!) They will figure it out and get you fixed and hopefully, this will be the last complication.

I'm glad you're in the hospital getting this taken care of! And you're right, you should refuse to leave until they fix it to your satisfaction. Hope it resolves soon and turns out to be a small complication on the path to a successful recovery!
