  • One week to go...

Hi everyone, my surgery with Dr. Rand is one week from today, at 8am in the morning. I'm getting myself physically and mentally prepared and so far so good. I was really terrified up until quite recently, and now I'm in a better place. I think getting ready for this sort of operation for so long (years for me) takes its toll, and it will be nice when I'm on the "other side". Besides Karen whose operation is tomorrow, who else is having surgery in the next two weeks?

Happy New Year to all of you!

    Paget

    Paget,

I am now one week post-op. I am doing well, and just wanted to encourage you during that last week. It is so scary, and I had to remind myself over and over that I was doing the right thing. There's nothing wrong with crying about it, or being brave, depending on the moment!

I hope your surgery goes well! Many blessings,

      Hi Paget,

I met you at the fusion class at NEBH. I was there with my mother who had her neck surgery on Dec 10. She's doing fine, is back home...She's 81.

You are in good company with Karen and also Jenee'. Her surgery is on the 10th...

From my impressions, you had a good person there with you who really wanted to take great care of you. You will do fine!

Let us know when you can!

I will be thinking of you Paget and wishing you well.

I'm hoping to get up the nerve to have surgery this summer with Dr. Rand.
I'm going to the spinal fusion class next month to answer some ques.

        Take care,
        Christina
