    Doing very well! Just did 17 steps and can go potty like a big girl lol, I am very happy with reaults so far, no pain in legs, though there is weakness in my bad leg doing steps. Also liftingarms above shoulders Is very painful, but I was,warned about that so I.m not worried. I am almost 5 feet 10 inches now! Fusion all posterior t4-l4
    Thanks for support! Will post again when not so drugged.

    Curves changed to 50's plus or minus
    herniated disc L2-3, Discectomy October 2007
    fusion L2-3 November 2008
    Revision L2-3 Fusion, Removal of hardware August 2009
    Curves measuring 52 T&L September 2010
    Fused T4-L4, all posterior December 27th 2010
    gained almost two inches in height

    25 years old
    double 70+ degree curves before surgery
    Anterior on 11/11/08
    Posterior on 12/2/08 with titanium rods
    nearly perfect correction
    fused t-10 to pelvis
    with a hemi-vertebral osteotomy at L4

    Broke right rod at L4-L5 on 06/26/09
    Broke left rod on 10/24/09
    Revision surgery on 11/5/09 with vitallium rods
    Broke both rods again

    Had posterior than anterior revisions on 03/11 at the Twin Cities Spine Center
    Declared "FUSED" on 12/6/11

        Wow, I'm amazed you are posting already. You sound like you are in great spirits and doing great. YAY!! I'm glad you are over with the hard part, now it's time for resting nd healing. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing.

        I had 3" shrinkage in 6 months...

        Surgery Jan 10, 2011
        9 hours
        T3 to S1 with pelvic fixation
        Both curves now 35'

        Possible revison for Flatback Syndrome
        Non-fusion
        Loose/broken hardware-awaiting CT results

          Congratulations! I think you are doing great! I hope I can "go potty like a big girl" at 3 days post op. Posting so soon is amazing! Keep up the good work with your recovery.

              yay, they didn't have to fuse to your sacrum! that's awesome. I'm fused from T2, so I also had a lot of pain/weakness/difficulty when lifting my arms...I remember I couldn't brush or wash my hair on my own for 3 weeks! but it'll get better for for you soon i'm glad you're doing so well post-op! you're so tall! congrats
