Wishing you the very best outcome LaShawn. Do let us know how you go and in the meantime, ask as many questions as you want. Knowledge is power!
It's a long fusion but not the longest on this forum. You'll retain some flexability having the lower vetebra left unfused.

Hi there, I am scheduled for surgery Dec 13th with Dr. Lenke in Saint Louis, MO. I am being fused T-3 to L-4. Ya our fusions are long ones. I'm sure your are getting nervous, I know I am. What are your curvatures? Are you in a lot of pain? Mine are T-68 and L-80. I am in a fair amount of pain everyday, some days are better some are worse. I just know it's time to take care of this!
i am T36 with chronic pain all day even with Oxy. I have rib and hip pain. i end up in the hospital a few times a month for uncontrolable pain. I am not sure of my degree of my lower curve.
my days and nights are scheduled around my pain so i am ready to do this
