Hi everyone -
If anyone here remembers me, I had a minimal invasive fusion on July 7 by a Dr. Durrani. He fused T2 through L1 and achieved an 80% correction. I've grown at least 1.5 ", which is pretty exciting. My back feels pretty great -even though I'm still on percoset (2 5mg - 3xday) & robaxin, but it isn't my back that hurts! It is my rt leg, mostly hip down to knee - my PT says it is my IT band. It has hurt like heck most of the time for almost 3 mos.
Has ANYONE else had this problem? I see the pain mgmt dr on Thurs, despite my huge fear of opiates &needles&all the scary stories I've heard.
I spend most of my time in bed, because sitting usually hurts after an hr & we don't have a recliner. What is a typical level of activity at this point? Any advice would be appreciated. I am at my wits end.
