  • Numbing and Tingling Sensation

    Hey all,
I'm 16 months post op, fused from around T-10 to my sacrum. I've recently been having tingling and numbness from my knee down on my right leg. Do you know what this could be?

It could be an issue with your leg, or it could be an issue with your back. If it follows one of these patterns, it's probably your back.

I had that tingling sensation from the knee down a lot before my surgery on just the right side. My understanding is it was from the nerve compression of the discs (maybe L5, S1?) It has disappeared completely since I had my surgery.

my doctor told me any kind of numbness and tingling is just about always connected to nerves...or something pressing on a nerve...

        hope you feel better soon...
