Thanks everyone. Just sitting outside having a Gatorade at a little cafe since I can only have clear liquids. Broth for lunch was quite tasty! Can't wait for dinner! The good news is is that Dr B had me get a CT of my lumbar this morning because he said that he's been looking over everything for a couple of weeks trying to decide if he really needs to fuse me all the way to the pelvis or if he can stop at L1 and preserve more flexibility by leaving L2 and L3 alone. After he got the CT results that is what he is planning. He said my fusion at L4 to S1 looks solid and L2 and L3 look good and my main curve is thoracic. So
It looks like the plan now is T3 to L1.
After that I had the central line put in and that went well. So now I'm just hanging out drinking Gatorade and pretending it's red wine! Thanks for all of the good thoughts and good luck Debra on Sept 1!! I'll be thinking of you as I recover!

                        Successful surgeries & speedy recoveries-Lisa & Debra

                        Lisa,
I'll be thinking about you Tuesday from only 30 miles away. You're in good hands with Dr. Bridwell. That will be nice if he doesn't have to fuse as far as he originally thought.
                        Debra,
I'll be thinking about you on September 1st and wishing you total success with your surgery.
