  • A quickie "thank you" to this forum

Today is my one year anniv. (fused T-3 to L-3)

One year ago, at this hour, I was still in Recovery, having had breathing problems when they extubated me at the end of surgery (around 3:30). . .I was an hour shy of my admit to the ICU.

This forum gave me the strength and the knowledge I needed to get through the weeks leading up to my surgery, the time in the hosp, and the post-op period.

Hopefully I don't sound to corney. . .but, this experience has been not only a physical journey, but a spiritual one as well.

To all of us. . .CHEERS!!!

We do corny here. Nothing wrong with corny.

I think I hit the record for corny about 2 years ago with a "Mr Ed" video.

MGS - Congrats on your 1 year anniversary! I hope you're doing great with your recovery, you sound very positive. This week, I must admit has been very emotional for me as I'm headed for surgery on Wednesday. So, it's always good to hear about getting to the "other side".

Hang in there Debra, you're nearly there.

Two days out from surgery, is hard, but you can do this thing!
