Well, the thing in my spinal cord turned out to be a benign "sirynx" (spelling"?). I have a date now for the surgery, January 24th. Will give me plenty of time to get things in order for this.

The date will be here before you know it. This is a website someone had given me to get ready for surgery, and I have to agree with Ed, definitly get the foam topper for your bed. I got a 4 inch and Im not sure if I would get any sleep without it.

Hi Davis, I'm glad things are all clear for you, I'm sure it's a relief. I recieved a report for a MRI I had last week and it said I had a small synovial cyst in somewhere around L4-5. Of course I ran to the computer to see what that meant. It's benign too. We sure are getting to know alot about our bodies. Good luck with you preparations.
