Hi everyone-
I have another question. The thought came to me after reading Janet's recent post about leaning forward when walking. I only used a cane or walker 1 week post op, then I ditched it because my back felt really good (just have this huge neck/arm issue still going on). Anyway, I do take 2 walks outside everyday. I take them with no walker or cane, just my neck brace. I do feel like I go 1 to 2 mph. I had my surgery June 8, so I know it hasn't been too long ago. Does everyone else who recently had surgery go that slow without a walker or cane? When does your speed eventually increase. Just wondering because I'd like to walk faster but I can't! I feel like my walking is more mechanical rather than normal like it used to be.
Thanks,
JenM
