  • 3 weeks post op FRIDAY.

Just wanted to brag a little. Thanks to my friends who took me to the Y I went water walking for over 1/2 hr!! It felt so good. It's what all the old ladies are doing but that is OK. Did finally get meds from my PA yesterday. He said do not go without, you need to maintain as much activity as possible without being snowed. He checked my incision while I was there looked good. Including my "flowered heart" tramp stamp the just sewed nicely back together. He also showed me my post-op x-ray which looks about 30 degrees. Maybe I will get better numbers my post op date with a standing x-ray 7/23.

That's such great news Janet - I also loved walking in the water soon after surgery. Glad you got to see our lovely doc' - and that your incision is looking good

Great news! Isn't it wonderful to get in the water for the first time? It feels a little weird at first but I was just so glad to be walking in the pool with the "old folks." I have gradually worked my way back to swimming most of the mile, just a little walking now. Keep up the good progress!
