There's a very interesting book that a friend told me about. it's called "One Tattered Angel: A Touching True Story of the Power of Love", and it's by Blaine M. Yorgason. the book is about a family who is asked to adopt a baby girl who was born without a brain but just a brainstem. i'm going to get this book soon. and if any of you can, get a copy as well, and a box of tissues because it's supposed to be a tear-jerker

Hmmm, never heard of it! I'll look for it. I just got thru reading Hannah's Gift, an absolutely beautiful story of a spunky little three year old diagnosed with cancer, and how she changed how doctors look at patients, as told by her mother.
