  • I fell today

Just had to share that I scared myself to death today. I was lowering myself down, kind of in a squat, to get something and my legs gave out and down on my butt I went. It jolted me but no sharp pain or cracking. My Dr. said if I had caused damage I would know it. I would have pain. My lower back muscles are stiff and sore, but I think it would be like that even before surgery. My fusion is T2-L1, so I didn't fall on any of the fusion.
I do say I got feeling so good and forget I still have to be very careful with movements.
Do you all agree, I would know if I messed up my fusions, would I be in pain?
I am feeling really good tonight so I'm not going worry about it.

Sorry about your fall Shari. From what I've read, I agree, if you have no pain, don't worry about it. It's easy to do. I don't know how many times my cat nearly tripped me up.

      Hi Shari,

I've had a few falls myself. Do you have a grabber so you don't always have to bend down.

Just a thought, anything that will help avoid that situation again,
      Shari

So scary. I have stairs in my house. My husband is putting a bed downstairs tomarrow for me so I don't have to climb under the influence.
