  • Shari continuing to do great

Shari continues to improve. Was up several times yesterday setting in chair, walking to bathroom and even took a cross country ride in a wheel chair from ICU to her "regular room" - not bad for only 24 hours after surgery. Has some new pain points today - shoulder and ribs. But this was expected as there was signficant manipulation to these areas. She continues to say that while there is definite pain it isn't as bad as she had expected.

When Shari stands the significant success of the surgeon is definitely visible -very exciting!!!

Physical therapy will begin this afternoon so increased activity for her today.

      Yea!
It's so great to get this kind of report on Shari - and I think you two can expect everything to progress from this point on!

While in the hospital I was not looking at my 'new shape' but my husband sure was and he was probably as amazed as you are! He took a picture of the 'new curve' in my lower back, where before the surgery it had been just straight.

Thank you so much for the update.
