  • Getting close to my 2yr mark and birth of baby!!

Well I haven't posted in a long time.
But well today I'm 34 weeks pregnant with our bean and looking forward to the weeks and months to come.

This has been the BEST pregnancy I had (and I have had 2 others that were both before the fusion). I never imagined that being pregnant could be so easy on my back!!!

I am due the day before my anniversary which was a total fluke as this baby was a total surprise!

But just wanted to post again that things are great, and that for anyone wanting to have kids and weighing the surgical options, YOU CAN get pregnant and you CAN have a baby after the fusion. Heck I'm even going all natural at a birth center with this baby, no doctor was going to tell me that my fused spine meant I HAD to have a section!

Congrats on the anniversary of your fusion, and on your new baby!!! Such wonderful news for you!!

I am in the 30th week of my 3rd pregnancy after fusion - my fusion was almost 20 years ago. No sections here either! It can be done!

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary and good luck with the baby! I do remember having such painful backaches during and right after my pregnancies. Maybe it would have been easier being fused!!

Keep us posted on the baby.
