  • 6 Weeks Post-Op Today

Hello to all my Forum Friends of the Post-op Club and ones soon to be in the Post-Op Club...I am 6 weeks Post-Op today and doing soooooo well! I never thought I be here. I am walking 2-3 miles each day with my fiancee and our huskies. I continue to have the muscle spasms and all the stiffness in my back muscles.
I do have to thank everyone of you for helping me with advice and support! It is soooo nice to have such wonderful people like you out there!
Thanks again! And all of you who have upcoming surgeries this week or in the weeks to come, you will be doing just as well as the rest of us very soon.

Boy am I really jealous now. I gained no height. How the weather up there!!! I always wanted to be able to reach things on the top shelf w/o a stool.

      Congratulations,
      Shari

        Hey Melissa,
I, too, gained about 3-4 inches in height. Isn't that great? Now I think we need to go shopping for all new wardrobe.... Ha! People have said, "look how mch taller she is."

          Rita,

Congratulations to you. I didn't gain height, but I lost a rib hump, that made me want some new shirts.

I went shopping, every top I bought was tight, something I hadn't worn since my early 30's. Now I can't fit in half of them, and the other half shouldn't be on a 50 yr old body. It felt good though, so now I'm back in my 30's.

          Shari
