View Full Version : Worried about my weight

Unfortunately due to a lot of outside stress, and of course the worry about this surgery, and on top of which having felt as though my neck has been broken for almost the last two weeks, I've been unable to do cardio, and I've overeaten (sadly which is what I do when I'm stressed). I'm now 40 lbs overweight, I feel like I'm carrying round a truck all the time, and hope that this won't be dangerous for my surgery on Thursday.

Any input about this would be great - thanks!

Lynette-- don't worry about it. You'll be fine. Your doctor would have said something if your weight was a real problem. Concentrate on positive thoughts. Enjoy your last few days before your surgery! :)

I agree with Susie and besides, there is nothing you can do about it this close to surgery anyway. You will be fine and the extra weight just might work in your favor.

My doctor said I might have some problems because of being too thin. I wouldn't worry about it (your weight) at all. I think that once you have your surgery you will probably lose more weight than you want to. Our thoughts are with you.

Thanks everyone - I accidentally put this post up on non-surgical by mistake - silly me! :)
