Ok so I have been trying to walk more especially outside since the weather has been soo nice..my question is has anyone experienced post op when walking you back making all these crazy noises, I swear everytime I move I hear cracking noises..The first night out of my brace it felt like my back was a zipper..It went all the way down my back..I just want to make sure this is normal to be experiencing..I don't want to be over doing it and mess something up. 19hrs of surgery was quite enough for me lol, i really don't want to go back in for something stupid lol.

I had a few pops every once in a while and it seems like it’s a normal process, things settling in. When do you see your Doc again?
The nerves also have to heal, they take a while.
Seems like you are doing just fine. Just wait, things get better and better!
At 3 1/2 months I was feeling fantastic since a good portion of the healing was under my belt.

Hi Meg.
I was trying to think back to my recovery and walking. There was some popping and cracking going on and also, since I was osteopenic, there was still some movement of the screws in the bone before the bone grew tightly into the screws. That may be part of what you are hearing since you have a form of OI.
