    Off to Hospital 3/1 Pre-op

    Well, Here I am sitting at the computer which seems to be my favorite place lately as I cannot go to bed unless I am very tired. Tomorrow at 10am, I am going to Charlotte Main Hospital for my Pre-op appointment.It all seems to be coming together now.

    Wish me a good day and hope all of you have one as well

    Lynette - 44 years old.

    Pre-surgery thoracic 55 degrees
    Pre-surgery lumbar 85 degrees

    Post-surgery thoracic 19 degrees
    Post-surgery lumbar 27 degrees

    Surgery April 1st 2010.

    Posterior spinal fusion from T9 to sacrum.
    Dr. Cronen at University Community Hospital - Tampa, FL.

            It went really well today. My appointment was 10 am. We got there at 9:50am .They took us right away and we were out of there by 11:30am.
            They took my blood, gave me an EKG, and the anesthesiologist talked with me.
            That was basically it.
            So it is now 10 days until I get to go to the hospital to feel better

              Melissa, I'm one week behind you. Getting a little nervous as I'm sure you are. My prayers are with you....
              May 2008 Fusion T4 - S1, Pre-op Curves T45, L70 (age 48). Unsuccessful surgery.

              March 18, 2010 (age 50). Revision with L3 Osteotomy, Replacement of hardware T11 - S1 , addition of bilateral pelvic fixation. Correction of sagittal imbalance and kyphosis.

              January 24, 2012 (age 52) Revision to repair pseudoarthrosis and 2 broken rods at L3/L4.
