Katlin asked me to post an update on her progress. She had surgery Tuesday 2/9 and did very well. Her expected release date is tomorrow - Valentines Day
. She is progressing each day and today they will let her start eating. She is working hard to move around and keep the stiffness at bay. When walking I noticed she is taller- maybe even reached her goal to be taller then Mom!
She wanted to tell all the kids who are still waiting for surgery not to be scared - it goes fast - you are kept comfortable after surgery. Tell the nurses if what your doing not comfortable - they understand. She said the worst part are the days before waiting for surgery.
This week has gone by fast and she's ready to go home.
