pre-op today

Had pre-op testing today at the hospital - DD was great - it went better then I expected. We also met the Neuosurgeon who will also be in the OR during surgery. She is being very brave. Reality is setting in for me - surgery Tuesday.

I hope the surgery goes really well - I'm sure it will! Soon you feel a great sense of relief that it's over. Hang in there for the next few days. For me it was a very surreal time, those few weeks right before my son's surgery.

Thanks for your well wishes laurieg6 & Barbara. I've always read how difficult the waiting is and now we're almost there. DD seems peaceful - I'm trying to follow her lead.
